Alaska Air expands Paine Field capacity 50% through summer 2027
ALK•Alaska Air Group plans to increase seat capacity at Paine Field by 50% starting this fall through summer 2027. The expansion includes a twice-daily San Jose route beginning April 14, 2027, and more service to Los Angeles, Portland, San Diego and San Francisco.

Alaska Air Group plans a 50% increase in seat capacity at Seattle/Everett Paine Field starting this fall through summer 2027. From April 14, 2027, it plans to add year-round San Jose service twice daily on Horizon Air E175 jets; Los Angeles service will increase to twice daily with larger Boeing 737 aircraft, and Portland will rise to two daily flights. Additional capacity is planned for San Diego and San Francisco.
