Alaska Air plans to take delivery of its first 737 MAX 10 next spring and expects to put it into passenger service between April and mid-May, Chief Operating Officer Jason Berry said. The FAA must certify the aircraft before deliveries can begin, and Alaska will then need a few months to certify its pilots’ heads-up display; Berry called the timeline “sporting” but said the airline was “not panicking yet.”
