Alaska Air Group forecast an adjusted fourth-quarter loss of $2 to $2.50 per share, compared with analysts’ average estimate of a $1.04 loss. The company said rising fuel costs continued to squeeze profits despite strong travel demand and higher fares. Shares fell more than 1% to $33.97 in extended trading.
