Alaska Air Group ships more than 80,000 pounds of Maui limes weekly for Mahi Pono
ALK•Hawaiian Airlines has transported about 2 million pounds of Mahi Pono’s Maui limes since air shipments began in February, with weekly shipments exceeding 80,000 pounds. Air freight cuts delivery time to three days from as long as two weeks by sea.

Alaska Air Group’s Hawaiian Airlines has transported about 2 million pounds of Mahi Pono’s Maui limes since air shipments began in February. Weekly shipments exceed 80,000 pounds, flying from Kahului to Seattle before being trucked to Canadian customers. Air freight cuts delivery time to three days from up to two weeks by sea.

Alaska and Hawaiian transported more than 157,000 tons of cargo to, from and within Hawaii and Alaska in 2025.
