Alibaba Prices AI Coding Tool at 7.9 Yuan and Debuts Zhenwu 810E Chip
Alibaba launched a low-cost AI coding platform priced at 7.9 yuan for the first month and 40 yuan thereafter with a pro version at 39.9 yuan rising to 200 yuan. It also rolled out the Zhenwu 810E AI chip, deployed in 10,000-card clusters and adopted by over 400 enterprise customers.
1. Low-Cost AI Coding Platform
Alibaba Cloud has introduced a new AI-powered coding platform offering access to multiple Chinese models, including its own Qwen 3.5, Zhipu AI, Moonshot AI and MiniMax. The service features a lite tier at 7.9 yuan for month one and 40 yuan thereafter, and a pro tier at 39.9 yuan for month one and 200 yuan thereafter, with model switching under a single subscription.
2. Zhenwu 810E AI Chip Launch
T-Head, Alibaba’s chip division, unveiled the Zhenwu 810E, an in-house AI training and inference chip with performance comparable to Nvidia’s H20 for China. The chip is operating in multiple 10,000-card clusters and has been adopted by more than 400 clients, including State Grid, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and XPeng, to power generative AI and large language model workloads.
