Alico outlined a shift from citrus into diversified land management and real estate development, retaining about 75% of acreage for agriculture.
Its land portfolio totals about 47,300 acres across Florida, with roughly 25% identified for near- or long-term development potential. The total estimated portfolio value was pegged at $650 million to $750 million, including $335 million to $380 million of near-term development potential.
The key project is Corkscrew Grove in Collier County, where Alico is planning two mixed-use villages with about 9,000 homes and 560,000 square feet of commercial space.
