Alkami slips after board chooses to remain independent
ALKT•Shares fall after board decision
Shares of digital banking firm Alkami Technologies fell 14.4% to $15.5 premarket after the company said its Board of Directors decided to continue ALKT as an independent public company.
Alkami had previously launched a sale process after attracting takeover interest amid pressure from activist investor Jana Partners.
The company also reaffirmed its fiscal 2026 revenue forecast of between $528 million and $531 million.
Seven of eight brokerages rate the stock "buy" or higher, and one rates it "hold"; the median price target is $21.
As of the last close, the stock was down 21.6% year to date.
