Alkermes reports positive Phase 1b proof-of-concept data for ALKS 7290 in adult ADHD

Alkermes reported positive Phase 1b topline results for ALKS 7290 in adults with ADHD; the results have already been presented.

The investigational orexin 2 receptor agonist showed clinically meaningful symptom improvement versus baseline, supporting further development in ADHD.

The safety profile was generally tolerable in healthy volunteers and adult patients, and no serious treatment-emergent adverse events were reported.

A Phase 2 trial is enrolling, with data expected in 2027; the first participant was dosed in September 2026.
