1. Revenue and earnings
Allient’s third-quarter revenue increased 18% to $164.40 million, beating the $153.87 million consensus estimate from five analysts. EPS was $0.91 and net income was $15.33 million. Higher sales volume and a favorable product mix contributed to revenue and gross-margin growth.
2. Demand and outlook
The company cited demand in industrial automation, stronger commercial automotive shipments and increased defense-related orders. It attributed improved profitability to operational improvements under its Simplify to Accelerate NOW initiative and reported record orders and backlog. Allient expects 2026 capital expenditures of $12 million to $15 million and an income tax rate of 21% to 23%; it said backlog provides improved visibility into the fourth quarter of 2026 and early 2027.
