These trucks on Daimler Truck’s Zetros 6x6 chassis will pair Mercedes-Benz OM 460 engines with Allison’s Continuous Power Technology.

Allison Transmission won a multi-million-dollar PL6T contract to equip 7,000 tactical trucks for the French Land Forces with its 4500 SP fully automatic transmissions. The award follows an Arquus–Daimler Truck partnership to deliver the Zetros by Arquus 6×6 chassis for defense logistics.

Each vehicle will feature the Mercedes-Benz OM 460 engine mated to Allison’s 4500 SP automatic transmission, which uses Continuous Power Technology to deliver uninterrupted torque across all gears.
