Almonty formed Almonty Rwanda with the Government of Rwanda, which received a 25% stake in exchange for the Shyorongi tungsten exploration concession and a mineral processing license. The venture plans near-term exports by collecting and upgrading existing mining output, with longer-term exploration tied to a proposed centralized processing plant.
