Alpha & Omega Semiconductor appointed Joshua Chien as an independent director, effective immediately.
Chien is EVP, Product & Strategy Officer at Sonatus in a fractional executive role through his advisory firm, DeoNow.
He was SMTC’s chief commercial officer from 2021 to April 2026, overseeing sales, marketing, account management and Asia operations.
Earlier roles include SVP of global sales and marketing at SMTC, and vice president of global strategic business development at Sanmina.
