Alphatec appoints Tommy Carls EVP, Data Intelligence and Strategy
ATEC•Carls named executive vice president of data intelligence and strategy
Alphatec appointed Thomas “Tommy” Carls executive vice president, data intelligence and strategy, reporting to CEO Pat Miles.
Carls will lead development and marketing across EOSedge, EOS Insight, data acquisition and analytics, supporting the InformatiX strategy.
He previously served as vice president of product and clinical at Proprio Vision, advancing an AI-enabled surgical navigation platform.
Carls spent more than two decades at Sofamor Danek, later Medtronic, in executive roles across engineering, marketing, product development, and global R&D.
