Alstom wins EUR 1.2 billion TransPennine Express battery train supply, maintenance deal

Alstom signed contracts worth more than EUR 1.2 billion with TransPennine Express for battery-electric trains, maintenance, depot, and charging infrastructure.
The order includes 29 five-car battery-electric units worth about EUR 930 million, along with long-term maintenance contracts worth about EUR 230 million.
