Altera names Micron veteran Sumit Sadana to board as independent director

Intel said Altera named Sumit Sadana an independent director on its board.
Sadana previously spent over nine years as Micron’s executive vice president and chief business officer.
Altera also appointed Kirsten Spears as an independent director, naming her chair of the audit committee.
Spears previously served as Broadcom’s chief financial officer and chief accounting officer.
