- Altus Group reported Q2 2026 U.S. commercial real estate transaction dollar volume rose 11.3% quarter-on-quarter, up 9.4% year-on-year.
- Trailing four-quarter transaction volume increased 16.3% from a year earlier.
- Property transaction count rose 6.7% from Q1, flat from a year earlier; 57.4% of dollars came from deals above $10 million.
- Industrial led: median price per square foot gained 13.2% year-on-year; median deal size rose 18.4%; invested dollars climbed 26%.
- Multifamily lagged: median price per square foot trailed overall growth by 1.2 points; total dollars transacted fell 11.9% year-on-year.
