1. AWS Cloud Growth Acceleration

Amazon Web Services posted a 4% acceleration in revenue growth from the December to March quarter, underperforming Google Cloud’s 15% acceleration but outpacing Microsoft Azure’s 1%. This relative slowdown could influence investor expectations for AWS’s contribution to overall revenue growth in fiscal 2026.

2. Alexa-Based Proxy Voting Partnership

Amazon partnered with Vanguard to integrate the investor choice proxy voting program into Alexa voice commands, enabling retail investors to direct voting for index fund holdings. The service covers over $3 trillion of assets today and is slated to reach $6 trillion by the end of next year, aiming to reduce friction in shareholder engagement.
