Amazon Focuses on Grocery Deals and Alexa+ AI Tools for June Prime Day
AMZN•Amazon will run Prime Day June 23–26 with four days of deals across 35 categories, focusing on fresh food, pantry staples and household essentials to expand its grocery business. Last year it delivered 4 billion grocery items via same-day delivery and rolled out AI-powered Alexa+ shopping tools.

Prime Day will run from June 23 to June 26, marking the second consecutive year of a four-day event and the first June date since 2021. Amazon will promote millions of deals across more than 35 categories, positioning the sale as a key driver of summer spending.
2. Emphasis on Grocery Categories
This year’s event places particular emphasis on fresh food, pantry staples and household essentials as Amazon pushes to make grocery shopping a core Prime benefit. The company aims to strengthen its position in everyday spending beyond big-ticket purchases.
3. Delivery Volume and AI Enhancements
In the past year Amazon delivered 4 billion grocery and essentials items via same-day delivery in the U.S. It also expanded AI-powered Alexa+ tools to help members discover deals, set price alerts and manage recurring purchases for greater convenience.
