Amazon Leo signs agreement with Herotel

Amazon.com signed an agreement with South Africa-based Herotel to launch evry, a satellite internet service using Amazon Leo.

Commercial debut is targeted for 2027, marking Amazon Leo’s first customer agreement in Africa.

Evry aims to expand connectivity in rural areas, farms and small towns where terrestrial networks are costly.
