Since its August 2024 launch, Flipkart’s Minutes has scaled to 1,000 micro-fulfillment centers across India in under two years, enabling deliveries in minutes. Orders have surged 400% year-over-year with retention up 20%, reflecting changing consumer habits toward electronics and personal care.
2. Expansion Plans to 1,500 Centers
Flipkart plans to add 500 more centers by the end of 2026, positioning Minutes as potentially India’s second-largest quick-commerce network by center count. This accelerated buildout underscores a strategy to capture rising demand for instant deliveries beyond groceries.
