Amazon Business has expanded its same-day grocery delivery service to include business locations such as offices, schools, and gyms, offering free delivery on orders over $25 for Business Prime members in more than 2,300 cities and towns. Customers can now order perishable groceries alongside essential supplies in a single checkout, streamlining procurement for corporate and institutional buyers.

The offering leverages Amazon’s temperature-controlled last-mile delivery network, ensuring freshness and compliance with business-hour delivery windows. This deployment builds on Amazon’s existing grocery infrastructure and complements its recent Amazon Supply Chain Services initiative, optimizing utilization of its logistics footprint.

By extending grocery capabilities to business clients, Amazon positions its Business unit to capture incremental B2B sales and reinforce its status as the second-largest U.S. grocer with over $150 billion in gross sales. The move could drive higher order volumes through Amazon Business Prime and strengthen its competitive edge against both traditional retailers and delivery platforms.
