Amazon Pharmacy will begin stocking and delivering Foundayo with same-day service in nearly 3,000 cities and towns and will offer kiosk pickup at select One Medical clinics. The company plans to extend same-day coverage to approximately 4,500 locations by 2027 and will provide next-day to three-day delivery in rural areas where pharmacies are not easily accessible.

Foundayo is priced at $1 per day ($25 per month) with insurance and $5 per day ($149 per month) for cash-pay customers, with manufacturer-sponsored coupons applied automatically at checkout. Amazon Pharmacy has delivered GLP-1 medications since 2021, helping customers save over $200 million through its automatic coupon program.

The oral pill orforglipron can be taken once daily without food or water restrictions and maintains stability at ambient temperatures, enabling kiosk distribution that injectable GLP-1 drugs cannot match. Phase 3 trial results showed an average 12.4% reduction in starting body weight over 72 weeks at the highest dosage.

Foundayo enters a market led by Novo Nordisk’s Wegovy, which is stocked at the same kiosks and carries identical $149 monthly cash pricing for uninsured patients. Lilly highlights Foundayo’s dosing flexibility as an advantage over Wegovy’s empty-stomach morning requirement, while cross-trial data suggests differences in efficacy and side-effect profiles.
