1. France Investment Plan

Amazon will invest over €15bn in France from 2026 to 2028 to expand logistics, cloud and AI operations. Four new distribution centres—Illiers-Combray, Beauvais, Colombier-Saugnieu and Ensisheim—are expected to create over 7,000 permanent jobs and boost delivery capacity after the Augny centre added 4,000 jobs and processed 170 million same-day orders in 2025.

2. 365-Day Price History Feature

Amazon expanded its price history tool to cover 365 days of pricing data directly on product listings, enabling users to track changes over 30, 90 and 365 days without third-party tools. Over 50 million customers have engaged with the feature, leading to a sharp rise in price checks and increasing transparency around genuine discounts.
