1. AWS Public Sector AI Accelerators
Amazon introduced five prebuilt AI solution accelerators at its AWS Public Sector Summit, aimed at government and education clients. The tools span real-time video intelligence, constituent digital services and integration with existing systems, promising deployments in weeks rather than years.
2. Trainium Chip External Sales Ambitions
The company is negotiating to sell its custom Trainium AI chips to third parties, marketing a 30% price-performance advantage over Nvidia GPUs. While Nvidia maintains a strong CUDA ecosystem, analysts believe both suppliers can coexist as AI demand continues rising.
3. Asda Retail Media Partnership
Amazon Ads will integrate its Retail Ad Service across Asda’s online grocery, George fashion and home channels in phased rollout starting Q4.
