Amazon has launched Amazon Supply Chain Services (ASCS), opening its freight, warehousing and fulfilment infrastructure to external companies across sectors such as healthcare, automotive, manufacturing and retail. The service leverages over 80,000 trailers, 24,000 intermodal containers and more than 100 aircraft to support ocean, air, ground and rail transport, while its distribution arm enables multi-channel order fulfilment; early adopters include Procter & Gamble, 3M, Lands' End and American Eagle Outfitters.
