Ambarella posts transcript of Q2 fiscal 2027 earnings call

AMBA•Ambarella discussed Q2 fiscal 2027 results on its earnings call with CEO Fermi Wang, CFO John Young, and VP Corporate Development Louis Gerhardy.
Revenue was $108.1 million, up 7.7% sequentially and up 13.2% year over year. Non-GAAP EPS was $0.18, and non-GAAP gross margin was 59.3%.
For Q3, Ambarella guided to revenue of $115 million to $124 million, non-GAAP gross margin of 59% to 60%, non-GAAP opex of $56.5 million to $59.5 million, and diluted shares of 44,900,000.
The company also raised its five-year serviceable market forecast to $22.9 billion by F2032 from $8.5 billion in F2027, implying about 20% CAGR. It highlighted its edge infrastructure push, including a stand-alone AI accelerator line, and said “X7” is now sampling, targeting co-processor roles alongside ARM or x86 hosts.
