Seventy-nine percent agree PCR use reduces environmental harm and 63% say it boosts brand trust. Among respondents aged 18–34, 34% reported that recycled packaging improves perceived product quality.

A substantial 79% of participants insist on third-party certification for recycled content claims, while 58% want packaging to specify the exact percentage of recycled material included.
4. Future Outlook and Incentives
With the EU’s mandatory recycled plastic targets set for 2030, Amcor encourages brands to adopt PCR now for technical validation. Existing incentives such as reduced plastic taxes and EPR scheme bonuses can offset initial implementation costs.
