AMD Expands India AI Deployment with 200MW Helios, Shares Slip 2%

1. India AI Partnership

Advanced Micro Devices has expanded its partnership with Tata Consultancy Services to deploy its Helios rack-scale AI architecture across India with up to 200MW of compute capacity, co-developed via TCS’s HyperVault subsidiary to help hyperscalers and enterprises scale AI deployments.

2. Investor Rotation and Share Performance

Shares of Advanced Micro Devices dropped 2.05% in regular trading and 2.3% in after-hours as investors rotated out of high-valuation semiconductor stocks, even as the company eyes capturing 20-25% of the AI chip deployment market in India.
