AMD expanded its Ryzen AI Embedded P100 Series processors, doubling CPU core counts and delivering up to eight times higher GPU compute for edge AI applications. The company signed a multi-year IP license agreement with Adeia, resolving all patent litigation and fueling a 5.4% gain to $202.69.

AMD’s new Ryzen AI Embedded P100 Series offers up to twice the CPU core counts and up to eight times higher GPU compute compared with its predecessors, targeting industrial automation, robotics and other real-time edge AI applications to capture growing market demand.

2. IP License Resolves Litigation and Reduces Risk

The multi-year intellectual property license agreement with Adeia grants AMD access to Adeia’s semiconductor IP portfolio, ending all outstanding patent disputes and eliminating a source of legal uncertainty, which supported a 5.4% stock gain to close at $202.69.
