Amdocs Launches AI-Driven Telecom Modernization with Azure OpenAI, Gemini Enterprise and AWS Bedrock
Amdocs has formed alliances with Microsoft, Google Cloud and AWS to deploy AI-driven telecom modernization through its agentic operating system. The partnerships integrate Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot and Fabric IQ for cloud migration, Google’s Gemini Enterprise for telco contact centres, and AWS Transform and Bedrock AgentCore for legacy-to-cloud migrations.
1. Collaboration Overview
Amdocs has formed strategic partnerships with Microsoft, Google Cloud and AWS to drive AI-enabled modernization across telecommunications application migration, contact centre automation and network operations using its agentic operating system.
2. Microsoft Partnership
In collaboration with Microsoft, Amdocs will combine its cloud migration expertise and Agentic Services with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Migration Agents, GitHub Copilot and Fabric IQ to automate end-to-end application refactoring and migration workflows on Microsoft Azure as agentic workflows within aOS.
3. Google Cloud Partnership
The Google Cloud alliance integrates Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience with Amdocs' Cognitive Core to create a telco-specific contact centre platform that automates billing inquiries, payments and plan changes while ensuring compliance through built-in policy control and traceability.
4. AWS Collaboration
Under a multi-year agreement with AWS, Amdocs will leverage Amazon Transform, Bedrock AgentCore and Amazon Connect alongside its agentic services to accelerate legacy-to-cloud migrations, enable autonomous network operations with digital twins, and monetise AI agents on AWS infrastructure.
