Amentum enters talks with US NNSA for Savannah River Site lease for 1-GW AI data center project
AMTM•NNSA selects Amentum for phased lease talks
Amentum was selected by the U.S. Energy Department’s NNSA to negotiate a phased lease to develop an integrated AI data center and power project at Savannah River Site, South Carolina.
The plan targets a 1-gigawatt AI data center supported by about 2 gigawatts of on-site generation, initially natural gas with a transition to advanced nuclear.
