Amentum partners with Kyoto Fusioneering to advance fusion energy commercialization
AMTM•Amentum signed a memorandum of understanding with Kyoto Fusioneering to pursue fusion energy commercialization opportunities in the United Kingdom, Japan and the United States.
1. Fusion collaboration
The partners will explore opportunities involving public and private fusion programs in the United Kingdom, Japan and the United States. Their work may combine Amentum’s nuclear engineering and project delivery expertise with Kyoto Fusioneering’s fusion plant technologies, and explore AI-driven engineering tools to improve design efficiency and accelerate development of commercially viable fusion plants.
