Google plans a $15 billion investment in Missouri data centers, securing over one gigawatt of new power generation and a partnership with Ameren for 500 MW of additional capacity.

Ameren Corporation has appointed Aaron Melda as chairman and president of its Ameren Missouri subsidiary. Melda brings over 25 years of utility leadership experience across power generation, energy delivery, transmission, nuclear operations, external affairs and commercial operations, and will report to group president Michael Moehn.

2. Google’s $15 B Data Center Investment and Ameren Partnership

Google plans a $15 billion investment in Missouri infrastructure projects, including a new data center in New Florence, securing over one gigawatt of new power generation capacity. Through its partnership with Ameren, the project will develop an additional 500 megawatts of energy capacity, supporting grid expansion and local economic growth.
