Ameren Missouri wins approval to acquire Ringer, Tom Sawyer solar projects

Ameren Missouri won Missouri Public Service Commission approval on Oct. 21, 2026, to acquire the 225-MW Ringer solar facility, targeted to begin service in 2029, and the 175-MW Tom Sawyer facility, targeted for 2028.

1. Solar project approvals

The 225-MW Ringer facility in Stoddard County will be acquired from Invenergy, with service targeted for 2029. The 175-MW Tom Sawyer facility in Audrain County will be acquired from EDF power solutions, with service targeted for 2028.
