American Airlines adds former FedEx CFO John Dietrich to board

American Airlines elected John W. Dietrich to its board of directors on July 15, 2026.
Dietrich will join the board’s Audit Committee, with a seat on the Finance Committee.
He previously served as FedEx executive vice president and CFO from 2023 to 2026.
Earlier, he spent more than two decades at Atlas Air Worldwide, including as president and CEO.
Dietrich also held roles at United Airlines, including attorney positions.
