American Airlines launches STARLUX codeshare for Taipei flights
AAL•American Airlines entered a codeshare partnership with STARLUX Airlines, opening bookings for select flights to Taipei for travel starting Sept. 30.
1. Codeshare partnership
American’s code will be placed on select STARLUX-operated flights from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle to Taipei, as well as additional Western U.S. routes. AAdvantage members can earn miles and Loyalty Points on American-marketed codeshare itineraries; the partners said they would work on mileage redemptions, while a Phoenix–Taipei codeshare awaits regulatory approval.
