Prusak will step down as president and interim CFO on Aug. 4 to take a job in Austin, Texas.

American Bitcoin named Paul Sacks interim CFO effective Aug. 4, replacing Matthew Prusak.

Sacks has led the company’s derivatives business since May 2026. Earlier roles include co-head of digital exotics at BlockFills from November 2022 to March 2026. He previously co-founded Digital Gamma, serving as managing member from January 2017 to November 2022.
