Mercantile, a division of Onboard Partners, has teamed with the American Society of Interior Designers and Celtic Bank to issue the ASID American Express Business Card on the American Express network, targeting over 19,500 professional designers. The program is tailored to project-based cash flows and seasonal revenue cycles common in design practices.
The ASID card provides weekly autopay approval pathways for lower credit profiles, a Credit LimitShield feature that auto-triggers payments at user-set thresholds, and tools to build business credit. Cardholders also receive access to Amex Offers, network protections and competitive rewards on everyday business spending.
This launch marks another milestone in Mercantile’s association partnerships built on the Amex Agile Partner Platform, allowing rapid deployment of niche credit programs. The collaboration supports American Express’s strategy to deepen penetration in small and professional services segments by offering specialized financial tools.
