American Express signed long-term Official Payments Partner deals with MetLife and Mercedes-Benz stadiums, New York Giants, Jets, Falcons, and a new NWSL team starting 2028, expanding American Express Venue Collection benefits. It also launched Sidecar mini airport lounges, Provisions grab-and-go in Charlotte, and boosted dividend by 16% to $0.95.

1. Expanded Sports and Entertainment Partnerships

American Express signed Official Payments Partner agreements with MetLife Stadium, New York Giants, New York Jets, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United and the upcoming NWSL team starting 2028. These long-term deals add to the American Express Venue Collection™, granting eligible Card Members presale ticket access and qualifying concession credits at these venues from spring events through the 2026 NFL season.

2. Launch of Mini Airport Lounges

The company introduced Sidecar, a 33-seat mini-lounge designed for quick stays without buffets, showers or private phone booths, and opened its first Provisions grab-and-go club in Charlotte. These concepts aim to streamline the airport experience and attract travelers seeking efficient food and seating options.

3. Dividend Increase on Strong Cash Flow

American Express raised its quarterly dividend by 16% to $0.95 per share, the largest payout hike in recent years. The move reflects robust free cash flow generation and management’s confidence in sustaining capital returns to shareholders.
