American Express names Geoff Rusnak chief audit executive, succeeding Alan Gallo
AXP•American Express appointed Geoffrey Rusnak executive vice president and chief audit executive, effective January 19, 2027, succeeding Alan Gallo, who plans to retire at the end of 2027.
1. Leadership appointment
Rusnak most recently served as Wells Fargo’s chief audit director and executive vice president, overseeing global banking audit coverage. Gallo plans to retire after nearly 40 years with American Express.
