American Express Unveils Up to 175,000 Point Bonuses and Fanatics Card Partnership
American Express introduced five card sign-up bonuses offering up to 175,000 Hilton Honors or Marriott Bonvoy points for spending thresholds ranging from $2,000 to $8,000 by 7/29/26. Additionally, it launched a co-branded Fanatics card integrating Fanatics rewards into its Membership Rewards program to expand sports commerce.
1. Expanded Hotel Card Offers
American Express rolled out four Hilton Honors and one Marriott Bonvoy sign-up bonus. Cardholders can earn 100,000 Hilton Honors points plus a $100 statement credit after $2,000 spend on the Hilton Honors Card; 130,000 points after $3,000 spend on the Surpass Card; 175,000 points after $6,000 spend on the Aspire Card; 130,000 points after $8,000 spend on the Hilton Business Card; and 150,000 Marriott Bonvoy points with a $125 credit after $8,000 spend on the Marriott Business Card. All offers must be completed by late July 2026.
2. Fanatics Co-Branded Card Launch
American Express introduced a new co-branded Fanatics Card that lets cardholders earn Fanatics Cash on sports merchandise purchases while accruing Membership Rewards points. The integration enables direct redemption of rewards within the Fanatics network, reinforcing AmEx’s sports commerce strategy and aiming to boost engagement among sports fans.
