Hondros College of Nursing combined with American Public University System, expanding American Public Education’s reach in nursing education.
Hondros now operates as an academic unit under the system’s Higher Learning Commission institutional accreditation.
The deal adds eight Hondros campuses across Ohio, Indiana, Michigan to the system’s network.
Management highlighted expanded pathways into bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral nursing programs through the broader system, including Rasmussen University.
