1. Grant Award Details
The American Water Charitable Foundation granted $80,000 to Wabash River Development & Beautification Inc. to support the Wabash River Blueway Expansion at Fort Harrison. Indiana American Water marked the award with a ceremonial check presentation at Riverpalooza, attended by over 300 community members celebrating riverfront development progress.
2. Project Scope and Design

3. Community Collaboration
Project leadership includes Riverscape President Bryan Horsman, Riverfront Development Director Lori Danielson, landscape architects from Lowland Workshop, and property owners Dr. and Mrs. Venkat Reddy. Their combined input will shape a community-driven plan to connect more residents to the Wabash River in safe, meaningful ways.
4. Foundation Giving Program
This award is part of the Keep Communities Flowing grant program, which focuses on water, people and communities. Since 2012, the foundation has invested over $25 million in grants and matching gifts across American Water service areas to support conservation, education and recreational projects.
