Americas Gold and Silver reported a minor electrical fire at its Galena Mine in Idaho earlier this month, traced to a short circuit in a ventilation fan.

No injuries were reported. Damage to mine infrastructure was not significant.

Operations resumed, with mining on the 4,900 Level still paused pending safety audits and ventilation repairs; higher-grade stope work shifts to early Q3.

A regional wildfire briefly blocked access to the Crescent Mine for about two days; development activities have restarted with no site damage.
