Ames National posted net income of $5.9 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, up 31.11%, with EPS rising to $0.67 from $0.51.
Net interest income (GAAP) climbed to $16.38 million, with net interest margin (non-GAAP, FTE) widening 0.53 percentage points to 3.18%.
Expenses, credit costs and balance-sheet trends
Credit loss expense increased to $208,000, while noninterest expense rose 7.8% to $11.2 million; the efficiency ratio improved to 58.52%.
