Amgen appoints David W. Gibbs to board of directors
AMGN•Amgen appointed David W. Gibbs to its board, effective immediately. The board now has 13 directors, including 12 independent members; Gibbs will serve on the Audit Committee.

Gibbs recently retired as president and CEO of Yum! Brands, where he served as CEO from 2020 to 2025. Amgen’s board now has 13 directors, including 12 independent members.
