Amkor expands Arizona advanced packaging campus investment to USD 12 billion

Amkor Technology expanded its Arizona advanced packaging and test campus plan, lifting total planned investment to USD 12 billion.

• Phase 2 adds 60,000 square meters of cleanroom space, taking the site to about 93,000 square meters as customer commitments exceed Phase 1.
• Construction is slated to start in late 2027, with completion expected by end-2029.
• The multi-phase campus is expected to support more than 3,500 Arizona-based employees once Phase 1 and Phase 2 are operating.
• Amkor positions the 170-acre site as a high-volume U.S. OSAT hub for advanced packaging, with capacity for further expansion.
