Anfield Energy Drills 8 Wells, Starts Leach Tank Removal, Targets 1,000tpd Upgrades
AEC•Anfield drilled eight additional monitoring wells and commenced leach tank removal at its Shootaring Canyon uranium mill as part of its 2026 license renewal and refurbishment plan. The company expects license approval by year-end, has begun detailed engineering for 1,000 ton-per-day throughput upgrades, and is constructing a 40-bed man camp.
1. License Renewal Progress
Anfield is finalizing its radioactive materials license renewal with the Utah Department of Environmental Quality, having addressed all information requests and drilled eight new monitoring wells in early 2026. The company aims to secure approval by December 2026 to enable full mill reactivation steps.
2. Refurbishment and Engineering Plans
Under its current license, Anfield has removed existing leach tanks and engaged PSE Engineering for detailed design work to upgrade Shootaring Canyon’s throughput to 1,000 tons per day. Preparatory site activity includes a new 40-bed man camp slated for year-end completion to support major refurbishment and initial production crews.
3. Investor Relations and Market-Making Agreements
Anfield signed a 12-month IR agreement with CorProminence for US$25,000 monthly PR services, increasing by US$15,000 monthly for IR services after month four. It also agreed to pay C$8,500 per month to Generation IACP for market-making, with a 3% annual fee escalation after the first year.
