AngioDynamics Q1 sales beat on med tech segment growth
ANGO•AngioDynamics said fiscal first-quarter sales rose 6.9% to $80.9 million, slightly above the $80.5 million analyst estimate; adjusted loss per share and adjusted net loss also beat expectations. The company reiterated fiscal 2027 guidance of $336 million to $341 million in sales and adjusted loss per share of $0.29 to $0.24.

AngioDynamics reported fiscal first-quarter sales of $80.9 million, up 6.9% and slightly above analyst expectations. Adjusted loss per share was $0.04, compared with an estimated $0.11, and adjusted net loss was $1.8 million, versus an estimated $4.81 million. Net loss was $7.1 million.
2. Growth and guidance
Double-digit growth in the Med Tech segment, led by Auryon atherectomy, Mechanical Thrombectomy and NanoKnife platforms, drove the sales increase. NanoKnife sales rose 29% year over year. AngioDynamics reiterated fiscal 2027 sales guidance of $336 million to $341 million, adjusted loss per share of $0.29 to $0.24, and gross margin of 54% to 55%.

The company announced a CEO transition and received FDA IDE approval for a new clinical study. Gross margin increased with favorable pricing, a revenue mix shift toward Med Tech and tariff refunds.
