Anheuser-Busch is allocating $5.8 million to its Williamsburg, Virginia brewery to strengthen capacity for Michelob ULTRA, the nation’s top-selling and fastest-growing beer. This project is part of a broader $600 million Brewing Futures initiative spanning 2025 and 2026, aimed at boosting domestic manufacturing across U.S. operations.
2. Workforce Training Initiative
The investment funds the creation of a technical skills training center in Williamsburg, one of 15 such facilities nationwide. The center will offer training in technical fundamentals, digital tools, mechanical and electrical systems, and management systems with a goal of upskilling more than 90% of the company’s manufacturing workforce within five years.
3. Veteran Programs and Community Impact
The brewery houses the highest concentration of veterans among Anheuser-Busch’s U.S. facilities, with nearly 20% of its staff comprising active service members or veterans. The company collaborates with Heroes MAKE America to translate military training into manufacturing credentials and supports a public event celebrating Budweiser’s 150th anniversary and America’s 250th birthday in partnership with Folds of Honor.
